Those who had seen the photographs clicked at the muhurat of Arjun’s forthcoming ‘Om’ last week would have noticed a pretty woman, who was introduced to the media as Pallavi Subhash, the heroine of the film.

When probed the reason behind picking a new face when Arjun-starrers would normally have popular actresses opposite him, we landed in some interesting details about Pallavi Subhash.

She is a new face only to Tamil cinema, as Pallavi is popular in Marathi films. “She is a model to many popular brands and played the lead in several Hindi serials too. But Kollywood is totally alien to her so far,” say sources.

We learn that director Ilankannan approached Pallavi to be the heroine of ‘Om’ after he was impressed with some of the advertisements in which she was part of. She is playing a college-going girl in ‘Om’.
